Designer profile

Jenny Noscoe

Originally from an arts background, Jenny Noscoe was formerly trained in illustration at Falmouth College of Arts and went on to work as a freelance illustrator of children’s books as well as creating illustrations for editorials, narratives and advertising.

Jenny's passion for gardens, combined with her artistic skills, led her to persuing a career in garden design. Jenny qualified in 2008, gaining a garden design diploma with distinction from the award winning Merrist Wood College, Surrey.

After qualifying, Jenny went on to work for multi-award winning garden design practice and horticultural expert 'Roger Platts Garden Design & Nurseries' for four years. Whilst she was working for Roger Platts she transformed and created beautiful domestic gardens, co-ordinated projects, large and small, from concept to completion. Jenny was part of the small team designing and co-ordinating the 'M&G Investments Garden' at RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2010, winning a Gold Medal and 'The People's Choice' award.

Jenny set up 'Jenny Noscoe Garden Design' with a view to persue her own ideas and designs. Jenny's extensive knowledge of plants and how to use them to the best effect within a design scheme and the wider landscape has been central to her development as a designer.

Jenny's artistic eye, strong visualisation skills and ability to communicate ideas to the client has been key to the success of her designs. Delivering gardens with a hands-on, proactive approach, she has great enthusiasm and enjoys the challenges of such a varied discipline.

Jenny is passionate about the landscape, particularly the growing development of sustainable and ecological design.
